This all day whale watching cruise offers the best chance at viewing the most variety of whales and dolphin and is coupled with a 2 ½ hour layover at Two Harbors On Catalina Island. Cruises depart at 8 am traveling approximately 3 hours during which time blue, finback, gray, humpback, minke, and even killer whales may be viewed. We also see several species of dolphin, a variety of sharks, sea lions, schools of various fish, and much more. Once arriving at Two Harbors on Catalina Island choose from the many outdoor activities. Kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and hiking are all available. Try one of the many trails including crossing to the more remote Cat Harbor. Upon returning to the ship you continue in search of whales and other marine life as you cross the channel back to Newport Bay. It is not uncommon to view multiple types of whales and dolphin on this cruise. You may also view truly unique animals like Mako Sharks and Bald Eagles that call Catalina Island their home.
